TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Article 1 – Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to every stay at La Remise. By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these conditions.

Article 2 – Duration of stay
The stay is intended solely for tourist purposes and applies for a limited period. The guest cannot claim any extension or permanent residence.

Article 3 – Reservation
A reservation is only final after receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount. At the time of reservation, a security deposit of €250 must also be paid. This will be refunded within 2 weeks after your stay, unless there is damage to or in the property.

Article 4 – Payment of the balance
Upon reservation you pay 30% of the amount. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival. For reservations made within 30 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid immediately.

Article 5 – Cancellation by the guest
Cancellations must be communicated in writing or by e‑mail. The following cancellation conditions apply:
a) Cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of the stay: free cancellation – we refund the deposit in full.
b) Cancellation between 6 and 4 weeks before the start of the stay: the deposit of 30% is retained and 20% of the remaining balance will be charged.
c) Cancellation within 30 days before the start of the stay: the full booking amount will be charged.
d) If the guest decides to shorten the stay after arrival, the full booked amount remains due.
Please note: our prices do not include cancellation insurance.

Article 6 – Cancellation by the owner
If the owner is forced to cancel the reservation, the guest will be informed immediately in writing or by e‑mail. Any amounts already paid will be fully refunded.

Article 7 – Arrival and departure
The property is available from 16:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the property must be vacated by 10:00. Arrival after 20:00 is only possible by prior arrangement with the owner.

Article 8 – Tourist tax
Room rates include taxes, with the exception of the local tourist tax (taxe de séjour). This must be paid on site to the owner, who will remit it to the French tax authorities.

Article 9 – Use of guest facilities
Guests must respect the peace and use the facilities, buildings and furniture only for their intended purpose. Rooms must be left in good condition. Given our location in the centre of a village, parties and excessive noise are not permitted. Use of the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk. Parents are always responsible for their children. Children must never be in or near the pool without supervision. The bedrooms are located on the first floor and are accessible via a staircase. There are also a few steps at the entrance and in the garden. Any damage to property may be charged to the guest.

Article 10 – Capacity
The agreement applies to the exact number of persons agreed. If upon arrival it appears that there are more persons than agreed, and no extra rooms are available, the owner may refuse access to the additional guests. This will not be considered a cancellation by the owner.

Article 11 – Pets
Pets are not allowed.

Article 12 – Smoking and vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the house or guest rooms. In the garden smoking or vaping is allowed, provided other guests are not disturbed. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly.

Article 13 – Prohibited substances
The possession or use of prohibited substances in our property is strictly forbidden. If detected, the guest will be immediately removed without any right to a refund of the stay.

Article 14 – Changes to the conditions
These terms and conditions may be changed at any time without prior notice. The conditions in force at the time of reservation apply. By paying the deposit, the guest declares agreement with these conditions.
